Passions
Most of what I know about discipline, I learned outside a classroom — on the water, underwater, or on a trail. These are the pursuits I keep coming back to.
Rowing
1–2 hours a week, every week, for six straight years. Placed 2nd in a Milanese amateur race in the 15–16 bracket, then moved up to the 17–18 bracket as a solo entrant — and won.

PADI Open Water certified, with 20+ dives logged in the last two years. Currently a year into freediving, building breath-hold and depth technique.
20+ open water divesEnduro & Downhill Biking
Amateur enduro races, plus lite downhill in small tournaments and on my own time — different disciplines, same appetite for controlled risk.
Amateur race circuitHiking
Hiking for as long as I can remember, including multiple 6-hour treks through the Ligurian mountains.
